What Is a DPF Delete?
A Powerstroke DPF Delete Kit removes the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), a factory-installed component that traps soot but restricts exhaust flow.
By installing a 6.7 Powerstroke DPF delete pipe or similar kit, you reduce backpressure, lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), and boost engine efficiency.
The result? A smoother, more powerful ride with no regen cycles, perfect for F250, F350, F450, and F550 delete kit enthusiasts and performance-driven diesel owners.
How the DPF Affects Your Powerstroke’s Performance
Stock DPF systems choke your Powerstroke’s potential. They increase backpressure, raise EGTs, and trigger frequent regen cycles that burn extra fuel and sap power.
For example, towing 12,000 lbs uphill with a stock 6.7 Powerstroke feels sluggish, with spiking temps and delayed throttle response.
A powerstroke delete like our 6.7 Powerstroke DPF delete kit or 6.4 Powerstroke DPF delete cuts restrictions, delivering up to +60 HP, +120 lb-ft of torque, and 2–4 MPG gains. Your truck breathes freely, tows stronger, and runs cooler.
Components of Powerstroke DPF Delete Exhaust Systems
Our Powerstroke DPF Delete Kits offer tailored solutions for every build. Choose the right setup for your needs:
DPF Delete Pipe: Replaces the DPF for better flow on Powerstroke delete pipe setups.
Race Pipe: Lightweight, DPF-only removal for 6.4L/6.7L/6.0L Powerstroke DPF delete builds.
CAT & DPF Delete Pipe: Eliminates both emissions components, ideal for 2003–2024 Powerstroke tuner for DPF delete.
Downpipe-Back Exhaust: Enhances flow post-turbo, great for 2019 F250 delete pipe models.
Turbo-Back Exhaust: Full system for max power on tuned 6.7 DPF delete trucks.
DPF-Back Exhaust: Improves tone without emissions removal.
Straight Pipe Exhaust: Raw power and sound for off-road F350 delete kit builds.
Dual Outlet Systems: Aggressive aesthetics and flow for SuperDuty owners.
4-Inch vs 5-Inch Systems: 4” for refined daily driving; 5” for towing and max output on 6.7 Powerstroke DPF delete pipe setups.
All kits use mandrel-bent tubing for optimal flow and durability, with muffler or no-muffler options for your desired sound.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can you delete Powerstroke DPF and keep EGR?
A: Yes, but powerstroke EGR deletion is recommended for optimal performance. Consult your tuner for compatibility.
Q: Does the Ford Powerstroke DPF delete cause black smoke?
A: Not with proper tuning. Smoke indicates poor tuning, not the Ford Powerstroke delete itself.
Q: Is it legal or safe to drive a deleted F250 truck?
A: Safe with proper tuning, but not legal for public roads in many areas. Verify local laws.
Q: What size is the stock exhaust on a 6.7 Powerstroke?
A: Typically 4”. Our 5” kits maximize flow for 6.7 Powerstroke DPF delete builds.
Q: What’s the difference between a 4” and a 5” exhaust on a 7.3 Powerstroke?
A: 4” offers refined tone for daily use; 5” maximizes flow for towing and performance.

So far so good with my AFM delete on my 2017 Silverado
5.3 with the factory sport exhaust. I haven’t driven far yet but I can already feel the difference at low speeds being my V8 mode is always on now. The light goes off after shutting my truck off so no battery drain. Before my truck had like a flutter sound at low rpm at speeds around 40mph I guess that’s when my V4 mode was kicking in. But instantly that’s gone now also just slightly pressing the gas pedal now the engine comes alive quicker than before. I’m very satisfied so far and for the 40s $ price range. I first looked at one for around 300 bucks. 5 stars I’m impressed thanks

Ordering process with short, sweet, and to the point; exactly how I like it. The product arrived when it was supposed to. I would definitely order from this company again.

Great overall

it was easy to install and great delivery, got it within 4 days of ordering
I just received the fuel management delete module and let me tell you how happy I am with this thing… all it was claimed to be… very fast shipping…AAAA+=++!!

I know now that my Chevy 5.3 will not fail after 90k miles as the stupid 4/8 change system has been eliminated. Super easy plug and play on my Silverado.

Product came i plugged it up and it works the way it states i recommend everyone with a5.3 and 6.2 get this ASAP

EGR Delete Plug Kit for 2010-2024 Cummins ISX 15 CM2250 CM2350 Plug Kit

Nice!

Stops the motor from kicking down to 6 or 4 cylinders which is supposed to add years to the motor. Thanks

Even before I purchased this, I was experiencing minor hesitation issues without the Check Engine Light. Also since I purchased this truck 4 yrs back, as I type this out, I had to replace the EGR within 3 months. Other vehicles owned with EGR have not experienced this level of issue when the code was checked on the CEL. Now I have been living with the EGR issue in recent months this time, until I determined what steps I wanted to take to permanently resolve this. After weeks of searching, and no real difference between everyone I looked at on the web, and it kinda was a no brainer, spend the money on a new EGR valve, or spend the same amount and eliminate, in essence bypass the valve emission system all together, especially since this truck at 35 years is not required emissions check in this state at 25 years.
My apologies for taking this much time to respond. The block off plate in this kit for my truck is not necessary. The plug on the sensor was removed, the slave was set, the wiring harness secured to a location out of the way of any issue, CEL cleared. After 3 days with some minor hesitation issues still existing, it was determined the vacuum line originally left alone might need to be plugged. To conclude since the vacuum line was plugged there were no signs of hesitation from standing start or any driving conditions requiring further increased pressure on the gas.
Thank you I am pleased with the response, the resolution of the EGR issue, full stop...

I bought the kit with the up-pipe to delete the EGR cooler feed inlet from the exhaust instead of the small disk that blocks it off. My mistake but, don’t get pinched like I did.

I run a small business, and it ain't always easy. Sometimes the best you can do is correct mistakes when they happen. I had a problem with the two AFM disablers I purchased (purchased together).
I contacted EGR and they acknowledged they did have an issue with some of them. They immediately sent me two replacements and the replacements are working fine.
In my opinion, that's how it should be. Thanks.
